“Proudly founded and supported by local Rotarians since 1957, KidsAbility™ is the recognized leader in Waterloo Region and Guelph-Wellington for empowering children and youth with a wide range of complex special needs to realize their full potential.
Through a talented team of therapists, teachers, support staff and volunteers, 7,975 children and youth, from birth to school exit, benefited from therapy and support services at our sites in Cambridge, Fergus, Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo last year.

As a registered charity, KidsAbility Centre For Child Development strives to deliver on it’s mission of empowering children and youth with special needs to realize their full potential every day. Here’s some additional information they provide about the work they do in support of their mission:
“KidsAbility™ Centre for Child Development is an accredited, charitable organization governed by an elected Board of Directors. We are accountable to the Ministry of Children & Youth Services. KidsAbility’s services are funded through grants from the provincial Ministries of Children & Youth Services, and Community and Social Services. Other services are funded by municipal governments.
Our services are also supported by the communities in which we operate through fundraising led by KidsAbility Foundation. In 2000, KidsAbility Foundation became the fundraising arm of the organization. Through its annual “Kids Can’t Wait” campaign, the Foundation raises tremendous financial support for programs, services and innovation at KidsAbility. These funds are raised from various groups, individuals and businesses in the community. We are deeply grateful to our generous donors and continue to have a special relationship with Rotary Clubs in Cambridge, Fergus-Elora, Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo. Rotarians continue to support the work of KidsAbility through their time, talents and donations.”2

Each year, a portion of ALIGNED Insurance profits are donated to a Canadian charity that is nominated by an ALIGNED client. During the Give Generously campaign, people vote by visiting web pages that ALIGNED builds to celebrate each charity and the great work they do.
Our annual Give Generously donation is made to the registered Canadian charity that receives the most “votes” which are recorded as web page sessions.
